These heavy-duty Durable™ Snap Fasteners, also known as press studs are designed to be long lasting and suit a wide variety of applications. They come in 3 button sizes and are made from heavy gauge brass which is non-magnetic. The standard finish is Nickel plate but some parts can be supplied in Ebanol Black or without a finish in brass.
You can use Durable™ Snap Fasteners in a huge range of situations, from vintage cars to the latest boats, clothing, equipment and all sorts of leather goods. Durable™ Snap Fasteners can be attached to a wide range of hard and soft substrates including wood, metal and plastic when using alternative studs (see associated products).
They are self-piercing when used with lighter fabrics. Heavy-duty fabrics and leather require piercing using a suitable tool. The best way to fix them is to use a specialist Attaching Tool for Press Studs.
